Apart from my role as co-director of the Surrey and Sussex CLRN between the years 2009 -2012, I have participate actively in research.  As the co-director of the CLRN I was responsible for research governance, finances and performances of teams that were recruiting to various trials across numerous specialities.

I have completed a major research project on "Ethics Education in postgraduate medical training with particular reference to paediatrics" and was awarded the degree of Master of Arts (Professional Practice) by the University of Brighton – 2009.

Was awarded grants by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (New Delhi) to function as a Research Associate and to work on Neonatal Necrotising Enterocolitis between the years 1988 – 1990 in Chennai, India.
