The first anniversary of the Pediatric Surgery in Tropics (PST) was celebrated on the 25 January 2025 at the Institute of Child Health (ICH), Madras Medical College (MMC), Chennai, India. Marking the celebration, a one-day dual mode (online cum physical) Tropical Pediatric Surgery Symposium was organized by Prof. Velmurugan, with the help of Drs. Rohit Gopinath, Krishnakumar Govindarajan and Aravindh Radhakrishnan. About 130 delegates participated in the event. The Tamilnadu Medical Council recognized the event by granting one credit-hour. Anniversary issue of the journal was released by Prof. Theranirajan, (Dean, MMC) and was received by Prof. N. Prasad, (Senior Pediatric Surgeon).
